Discussed RFC: Provide Secure Boot-Signed Alternative Kernels (opens new window)

• The RFC author appears to have abandoned the effort. We need someone else to pick this up and continue the work.

Discussed proc: fix a dentry lock race between release_task and lookup (opens new window) upstream kernel patch

• The merge request (opens new window) is targeting RHEL-9.8 in GitLab but has not been merged yet.

Discussed policy for adding new ALESCo members:

• We're waiting for a questionnaire from Neal Gompa.

ALESCo Chair election:

• Andrew Lukoshko was unanimously re-elected as Chair for the next 6 months. Per the ALESCo policy, a new Chair will need to be elected after that term.

Cody Robertson decided to step down from ALESCo but expressed interest in returning in the future.
